​I created GALLIVANT as an expression of Southern hospitality from my Kentucky upbringing combined with a lifelong passion for travel. My wanderlust began at a young age while attending a French cultural immersion class at the public library in my hometown. As I learned to make crepes and speak phrases in French, I dreamed of seeing the Eiffel Tower one day. I discovered early that dreaming and anticipating a journey can provide much of the magic.

Years later, as a biotech executive, I relished the time spent exploring with my family and realized the need for highly personalized travel services for those who placed a high value on their time away with family and friends as I did. I sought an approach that allowed us to be present in each moment because every detail had been well considered, yet also allowed us to chart our own course – to make each journey truly ours.
